Built to go further
The Ultimate Group 24 Deep Cycle Lithium Upgrade
A smarter 12V 100Ah deep cycle replacement with 105Ah of capacity, Bluetooth, and internal heating.
The Epoch Essential Series 12V 105Ah LiFePO4 battery gives RV, marine, van, solar, and off-grid users a compact drop-in replacement for heavy lead-acid or AGM batteries. With a Group 24 footprint, 22.1 lb weight, and 1.34kWh of stored energy, it delivers dependable lithium runtime without taking up extra space.
Unlike many bare-bones budget batteries, this model includes the premium essentials customers actually want: internal heating for cold weather charging, a Bluetooth battery monitor through the free Epoch Li-Ion app, and smart BMS protection for safer everyday use.
True Drop-In Group 24 Size
The compact 10.25 in × 6.75 in × 9.00 in footprint is designed for Group 24 battery trays, marine battery boxes, and RV battery compartments. Always verify tray fitment, cable clearance, hold-down strap location, and terminal access before installation.
Lightweight Power
At only 22.1 lbs, this lightweight lithium battery can remove significant weight compared with traditional lead-acid options, helping improve RV payload efficiency, boat handling, and overall system serviceability.
Premium Tech Built into our Essentials Package
Internal heating, Bluetooth monitoring, and smart BMS protection separate it from basic budget batteries.
Smart Internal Heating for Cold-Weather Charging
Charging lithium cells below freezing can damage them, so the BMS never starts charging while any battery temperature reading is below 0°C (32°F). Instead, incoming charge current powers internal heating pads — never the battery's stored energy — and charging resumes automatically once the battery reaches 5°C (41°F). The heater needs a connected charger supplying at least 0.5A. The heating system is tested to −20°C (−4°F) and rated for external ambient temperatures down to −40°C (−40°F).
Built-In Bluetooth & Free Epoch Li-Ion App
No external shunt is needed: a BMS-integrated shunt measures current with 0.2A accuracy on discharge. The built-in Bluetooth module connects to the free Epoch Li-Ion app for iOS and Android, so you can view state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, and battery status from your phone. The Bluetooth security PIN is printed on the battery's lid and can be changed in the app under Advanced Settings.
105Ah Capacity: More Power Than the Standard 100Ah
That extra 5Ah provides 1.34kWh of stored energy (12.8V × 105Ah), giving you more runtime for trolling motors, CPAP machines, RV electronics, lights, pumps, refrigerators, and off-grid loads in the same compact Group 24 size class.
Expandable Power for Any Application
Build larger 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V systems with matched batteries.
Build 24V, 36V, or 48V Systems
Wire up to 4 batteries in series to create 24V, 36V, or 48V systems for compatible trolling motor, golf cart, solar, or mobile power applications. For more capacity at 12V, wire up to 4 batteries in parallel for up to 420Ah. The maximum configuration is 4S4P. Always use matched batteries of the same model, age, capacity, and state of charge.

IP54 weather-resistant protection
Dust protected, splash resistant, and built for protected mobile compartments.
The IP54 enclosure helps protect against dust and water splashes in protected RV, marine, van, and off-grid battery locations. It is not designed for submersion, pressure washing, or standing-water installations.
Why upgrade to Epoch LiFePO4?
More usable energy. Less maintenance. Smarter battery visibility.
LiFePO4 technology provides stable voltage output, long cycle life, fast charging capability, and maintenance-free operation. Compared with lead-acid batteries, this Epoch Essentials battery delivers more usable energy in a lighter package while adding Bluetooth monitoring, internal heating, and smart BMS protection.
Fitment and charging note
Verify your tray, wiring, charger, and system design before installation.
Always confirm Group 24 tray dimensions, terminal access, cable clearance, charger compatibility, overcurrent protection, and system requirements before installation. Use a LiFePO4-compatible charger, RV converter, solar charge controller, inverter charger, or DC-to-DC charger programmed within Epoch’s recommended charging parameters, and tighten the M8 terminal hardware to 8–12 N·m.
12V 105Ah Heated Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery FAQs
Answers for Group 24 fitment, Bluetooth monitoring, cold-weather charging, expansion, charger compatibility, and storage.
Is this battery a direct replacement for my standard 12V RV or boat battery?
Yes. The Epoch 12V 105Ah Essentials battery is designed as a Group 24 drop-in replacement for many standard 12V RV and marine battery trays. It measures 10.25 × 6.75 × 9.00 in and weighs 22.1 lb, offering far less weight and more usable energy than many lead-acid or AGM batteries. Always verify tray dimensions, cable clearance, terminal orientation, and charger compatibility before installation.
Do I need to buy a separate battery monitor or shunt?
No. A BMS-integrated shunt measures current with 0.2A accuracy on discharge, and the built-in Bluetooth module sends state of charge, voltage, current, internal temperature, and battery status to the free Epoch Li-Ion app on a compatible iOS or Android device. The Bluetooth security PIN is printed on the battery's lid; you can change it in the app under Advanced Settings.
How does the internal heating feature work?
Charging lithium cells below freezing can damage them, so the BMS never starts charging while any battery temperature reading is below 0°C (32°F). Instead, a connected charger supplying at least 0.5A powers internal heating pads, using incoming charge current only and never the battery's stored energy. Charging resumes automatically once the battery reaches 5°C (41°F). The heating system is tested to −20°C (−4°F) and rated for external ambient temperatures down to −40°C (−40°F).
Can I wire these batteries together to make a 24V or 36V trolling motor system?
Yes. The Epoch 12V 105Ah Essentials battery can be wired in series up to 4 batteries to create 24V, 36V, or 48V systems. It can also be wired in parallel up to 4 batteries to increase total amp-hour capacity, to a maximum 4S4P configuration. Use matched batteries of the same model, age, capacity, and state of charge, and follow Epoch installation guidance.
Why choose a 105Ah battery instead of the industry-standard 100Ah?
Epoch packs 105Ah into the Group 24 size class, giving you 1.34kWh of stored energy in a compact footprint. That extra 5Ah can provide additional runtime for trolling motors, RV electronics, lighting, refrigeration, CPAP machines, pumps, and other 12V loads without taking up more physical battery space.
Can I charge this with my existing alternator or standard battery charger?
For best performance and lifespan, use a charger, RV converter, solar charge controller, or inverter charger with a dedicated LiFePO4 charge profile. Epoch lists 14.2V–14.4V bulk/absorption ending at C/20 (5.25A) or after 15 minutes, float disabled preferred or 13.3V–13.6V, 13.2V re-bulk, equalization disabled, and temperature compensation off. The recommended charge current is 50A (100A maximum continuous). For alternator charging, a DC-to-DC charger is highly recommended to protect both the alternator and battery.
Is this battery heated and Bluetooth enabled?
Yes. This model includes both internal heating for cold-weather charging support and Bluetooth app monitoring. These are the key premium features that separate it from many lower-cost bare-bones 12V 100Ah deep cycle replacement batteries.
Is this battery waterproof?
This model is IP54 rated, meaning it is dust protected and splash resistant for protected RV, marine, van, and mobile power compartments. It is not designed for submersion or locations where standing water can collect around the battery.
How should I store the battery?
For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% state of charge, disconnect loads and chargers, and store it clean and dry at 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) where practical. Check the state of charge at least every 3 months and recharge as needed.
